About the FPSHQ graphics card catalog
Our catalog gathers 2,400+ graphics cards of all generations — from old GTX 7xx and Radeon HD to the latest RTX 50 series and RX 9000. Each card has a full page with specs, benchmarks, pros/cons, FPS tests in popular games and a user rating.
What data we collect
For each GPU we store: precise technical specs (CUDA/Stream Processors, clocks, memory size and type, bus, TDP, process node, transistors), benchmark results from TechPowerUp, GamersNexus, 3DMark Time Spy and Speed Way, prices at major stores with 6 months of history, photos of reference and popular AIB models, and pros and cons from our expert review.
How Bench Score is calculated
Bench Score (0–10,000) is a relative performance metric in average games. It is the geometric mean of 12 figures: 1080p/1440p/4K ultra, synthetic 3DMark Time Spy / Speed Way / Port Royal tests, OpenCL/Vulkan compute. The RTX 5090 is set to 10,000. This makes it easy to compare cards from different generations: an RTX 3080 (Bench 4,800) is comparable to an RX 7700 XT (Bench 4,900).
NVIDIA RTX generations
- RTX 50 series (Blackwell, 2025): GDDR7, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, 5th-gen tensor cores, the best ray tracing.
- RTX 40 series (Ada Lovelace, 2022–2024): TSMC 4 nm, DLSS 3 with Frame Generation, excellent efficiency.
- RTX 30 series (Ampere, 2020–2022): Samsung 8 nm, the first mainstream generation with 2nd-gen RT cores.
AMD Radeon generations
- RX 9000 (RDNA 4, 2025): new AI accelerators, FSR 4 with a neural network, improved RT.
- RX 7000 (RDNA 3, 2022–2023): chiplet design (GCD+MCD), 256-bit GDDR6, FSR 3.
- RX 6000 (RDNA 2, 2020–2022): AMD's first generation with hardware RT (but weaker than NVIDIA).
