FPSHQ Score
One number instead of a dozen benchmarks. Compare GPUs, CPUs and whole builds of different generations directly — honestly, transparently, with prices factored in.
GPU/CPU performance in real games + synthetics. Normalized to the generation flagship (RTX 5090 = 10,000).
How much performance per price. Accounts for current store prices. Helps you avoid overpaying for the top.
The final score of the whole build and a tier from F to S. Calculated in PC Power Test in 30 seconds.
How a build's PC Score is calculated
A weighted sum of five factors, normalized to 100 points:
PC Score = (GPU×0.45 + CPU×0.30 + RAM×0.10 + Storage×0.05 + Balance×0.10), where each component is normalized to 100.
Build tiers: from F to S

⚡ Take the PC Power Test →Why a unified performance rating is needed
Comparing GPUs and CPUs of different generations by eye is nearly impossible: is the GeForce RTX 4070 faster than the RTX 3080 or not? Will a Ryzen 5 7600 beat a Core i5 12600K in games? Only benchmarks give direct answers, but there are dozens and each game tells its own story. FPSHQ Score solves this by reducing everything to one number you can instantly rank any hardware by.
The key difference of our approach is factoring in real store prices via the Value Score. A top GPU almost always leads in raw performance, but the markup for the last 10% of power can be twofold. Value Score honestly shows where the purchase "sweet spot" is — usually mid-range models of the current generation.
How we collect data
At the core of the Bench Score is a mix of real in-game FPS measurements in popular titles and synthetic tests. All measurements are at stock clocks for a fair comparison. Prices for the Value Score come from the largest stores and update daily. The full description of formulas and weights is in the methodology section.
