How to embed an FPSHQ chart
- Every chart on FPSHQ has an "Embed" button above it.
- Pick a format: iframe (interactive, with toggles), SVG image (for articles and newsletters) or a text link.
- Pick a theme — auto, light or dark — and copy the code.
- In WordPress, Ghost and other CMSs with oEmbed support, just paste the chart link — it embeds itself.
An embedded chart is a snapshot as of the date shown under it; the credit "Source: FPSHQ" and the link are already in the code. The container sets no cookies, shows no ads and is excluded from indexing.
How to credit FPSHQ data
- License — CC BY 4.0: FPSHQ data may be quoted, republished and embedded, including by commercial outlets.
- Credit is required: "Source: FPSHQ" with a link to the page with the data (for videos — in the description).
- Label what the number is: "FPSHQ model estimate" for FPS predictions, "measurement" only for real tests, "Valve data" for Steam survey shares.
- Give the date: figures change, and every chart and table shows its data date.
- Quoting does not imply partnership or endorsement: do not use the FPSHQ logo as a sign of product recommendation.

Methodology and sources
Graphics card, RAM, VRAM and resolution shares come from the official Steam Hardware & Software Survey (Valve), imported by an FPSHQ task after each month is published. The median graphics card is the share-weighted median by Bench Score in the FPSHQ catalog among recognized models. "Independent measurements" are review tests and verified player measurements, excluding aggregate tables and outliers. Model accuracy comes from the FPSHQ backtest (held-out game and external check). An embedded chart is a snapshot of a chart from an FPSHQ page as of the date under it. More about the methodology →
