About FPSHQ

FPSHQ is an independent team of engineers and gamers. We built the best database of FPS data and system requirements. Free, no registration, no ads in the results.

Our mission

To make choosing gaming hardware simple, accurate and clear. Before FPSHQ gamers used either abstract "PC Power Scores" with 30-50% error, or YouTube reviews they had to combine by hand. We do that work for you.

What we do

  • We maintain a database of 2,400+ GPUs from the GTX 1050 (2016) to the RTX 5090 (2025) — with up-to-date benchmarks and prices.
  • We test games on that hardware — 8,200+ titles, over 12 million FPS combinations.
  • We track prices daily at popular retailers in your region.
  • We publish tier lists and ratings based on objective metrics, not manufacturer marketing.
  • We build tools: FPS calculator, Bottleneck analyzer, Build configurator.

Our principles

  1. Independence. We do not receive hardware from manufacturers in exchange for positive reviews. All tests are on our own equipment or from open sources.
  2. Transparency. All methods, formulas and data sources are published openly in the Methodology section.
  3. Up-to-date. The database is updated weekly, tier lists every 30 days, prices daily.
  4. Objectivity. If an error is found in our data — we publicly acknowledge and fix it within 24 hours.
  5. Free. All tools are free, no paywall, no mandatory registration.

Data sources

FPSHQ aggregates data from independent sources: TechPowerUp, GamersNexus, Hardware Unboxed, Digital Foundry, Steam Hardware Survey, crowdsourcing from FPSHQ users.

Frequently asked questions about the project

Who is behind FPSHQ?
The project is run by an independent team of engineers and gamers with years of industry experience. We are not affiliated with NVIDIA, AMD, Intel or hardware makers. This lets us give objective assessments. Contact: Telegram @denissatoshi.
When was the project launched?
FPSHQ launched in 2026 to build the most complete database of system requirements and FPS tests. It was originally made for personal needs — choosing hardware for games — and quickly grew into a public service.
How do you make money?
We earn from: 1) Unobtrusive advertising; 2) Affiliate links to stores (affiliate programs); 3) Native ads in the blog (clearly labeled). Affiliate links do not increase the price for you.
Do manufacturers pay for mentions?
No. We get hardware for testing either by buying it ourselves or from open reviews (TechPowerUp, GamersNexus, Hardware Unboxed). Manufacturers do not pay for a position in tier lists or comparison results. If they did — it would be clearly stated in the material.
What do you do better than others?
Key differences: 1) Real benchmarks, not abstract formulas; 2) Prices from several stores; 3) DLSS/FSR accounted for in the calculator; 4) FAQ of 10-15 questions on every page; 5) User votes and comments. And all of it is free with no registration.
How to become an FPSHQ editor?
If you have hardware expertise and content-writing experience — message Telegram @denissatoshi. We pay for quality reviews, guides and database expansion. Authors with an understanding of their country's local market are especially welcome.
Can I use your data?
FPSHQ benchmark data is open, you can use it with attribution (a link to our page). For mass parsing — message us, we will provide an API. Only full copying without attribution is prohibited.
Where to find historical data?
Prices are kept for the last 6 months. FPS data for the last 2 years. Tier list version history is in the FPSHQ blog (the "Tier list archive" section).
Which languages are supported?
The site is available in 7 languages: Russian, English, Arabic, Indonesian, Portuguese, Turkish, Spanish. The language switcher is in the header. Content is localized by humans, not machine translation.
What are the future plans?
Planned for 2026-2027: 1) Expanding the database to 15,000 games; 2) Price parsing from international stores (Newegg, Amazon, Best Buy); 3) An iOS/Android mobile app; 4) An API for developers; 5) A Telegram bot for quick FPS calculation; 6) Integration with international communities.
Can I order advertising on FPSHQ?
Yes, we sell ad placements: a header banner, a native blog article, tier-list sponsorship. All ad placements are clearly labeled. Terms and media kit — Telegram @denissatoshi.
Where to send suggestions?
Any questions, suggestions, bug reports, ideas for new sections — Telegram @denissatoshi. We respond within 24 hours on weekdays.
