How we calculate

Processors come from the game’s official requirements, matched to the FPSHQ catalog by exact model name; Gaming Score is the catalog’s gaming score.

CPU FPS ceiling — the unified FPSHQ model formula: Gaming Score ÷ 30 × √(45 ÷ game demand). It is the maximum frame rate the CPU can prepare with any graphics card.

For 60/120/144/240 FPS targets we show the lowest-scoring popular processor (by search demand) whose ceiling is not below the target.

FAQ

What CPU do I need for HELLMART?
HELLMART needs at least Core i5-8400 (ceiling ≈106 FPS), Core i5-8600K is recommended (≈112 FPS). For 60 FPS Core i5-2400 is enough, for 144 FPS — Core Ultra 7 155H.
What CPU do I need for 144 FPS in HELLMART?
By the FPSHQ model, 144 FPS in HELLMART needs a Core Ultra 7 155H-level CPU or better (CPU FPS ceiling not below the target); 60 FPS needs Core i5-2400.
Will my CPU bottleneck the GPU in HELLMART?
Compare the CPU FPS ceiling in the table with your GPU’s FPS: if the CPU tops out first, the GPU will not reach its potential. Details — in the bottleneck calculator.
Where does FPSHQ get its data?
From four sources: official developer and Steam system requirements (157,242 games), hardware manufacturers' specifications (1,965 GPUs, 456 CPUs), FPS measurements from reviews, YouTube and players (106 independent measurements and 4,800 rows of aggregated review data), and the FPSHQ model where no measurement exists — always labelled "estimate".
