How to get more FPS on the ROG Ally
- TDP mode
The maximum power mode gives more FPS but drains the battery faster; light games are fine in the power-saving mode. - Frame cap
The ROG Ally display runs at up to 120 Hz; in heavy games cap at 40–60 FPS for steadier frame pacing and longer battery life. - Resolution
Lowering the resolution is the strongest lever; on a small screen 720p–800p looks decent. - FSR upscaling
FSR (in-game or system RSR/FSR) adds frames; DLSS is not available on AMD-based devices. - Preset
Start with the low preset, then raise textures if memory allows — they barely affect FPS.
