FPSHQ FPS model: top 50 games: open data in CSV and JSON

FPSHQ model FPS estimates for 50 popular released games on 16 reference GPUs — 2,400 values at 1080p, 1440p and 4K on the High preset. 0% of cells match an independent measurement (source = measured); the rest are model estimates (source = model).

In short

How many FPS will a graphics card get in popular games according to the FPSHQ model?

As of Oct 15, 2026, the FPSHQ model estimates FPS for the 50 most popular released games on 16 reference graphics cards — from the GTX 1650 to the RTX 5090 and RX 9070 XT — at 1080p, 1440p and 4K on the High preset. For example, the GeForce RTX 4060 in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p High gets about 82 FPS. There are 2,400 values in total; 0% of them match a real benchmark and are labeled source = measured, the rest are model estimates (source = model) calibrated on review and player benchmarks. The estimate ignores the CPU, so it is the GPU limit: with a weak CPU, FPS will be lower. Unreleased games are not included — FPS is not published for them.

Open data FAQ

Are these measurements or predictions?
Mostly FPSHQ model predictions — every row has a source column: measured (matches an independent measurement) or model (estimate). When citing, call model values an “FPSHQ estimate”.
Is the CPU taken into account?
No, this is the GPU limit. To include a CPU, use the “FPS in a game on GPU + CPU” pages or the FPS calculator.
Can I use FPSHQ data in a commercial project?
Yes. The dataset is licensed under CC BY 4.0: you may copy, change and use the data for any purpose, including commercial. The only condition is attribution: “Source: FPSHQ” with a link to the dataset page next to the data.
How do I cite the “FPSHQ FPS model: top 50 games” dataset?
Use the attribution line “Source: FPSHQ — “FPSHQ FPS model: top 50 games” (https://fpshq.com/en/data/fps-model-top50/), license CC BY 4.0”. For research and analytical texts use this reference: FPSHQ (2026). FPSHQ FPS model: top 50 games [Data set], version 2026.10.15. https://fpshq.com/en/data/fps-model-top50/. License CC BY 4.0. Accessed 2026-10-15.
How often is the dataset updated?
The snapshot is rebuilt every 24 h. When the content changes, a new dated version appears (now 2026.10.15 from Oct 15, 2026), and the version log shows how many rows were added, removed and changed.
Do the files contain personal data?
No. The files contain no IP addresses, device IDs, accounts or exact timestamps. Gamer hardware statistics are published only as shares and only above the k-anonymity threshold; community benchmarks only as medians per “game × GPU × resolution × preset” cell.

Methodology and sources

The game list is the FPSHQ top 50 released games by popularity (games with real benchmarks first), without duplicate editions. For each reference GPU we take the consistent FPSHQ model matrix: calibration on benchmarks, monotonic across presets and resolutions, the senior source wins in conflicts. A cell is labeled measured only if the value equals a real benchmark without recalculation. The CPU is not taken into account. The dataset snapshot is built automatically from the FPSHQ database every 24 h; a new version appears only when the content changes. Game and hardware names follow the FPSHQ catalog; links lead to site pages. More about the methodology →
